Field Day 2013

On 25th May, the seventh Field Day takes place in the heart of London. Events like this are not a rarity. So, the question is: Why is Field Day such a special event?

Okay, there are a few reasons. First, it is the place where this years Field Day takes place: Victoria Parks. A lot of nature but still in the heart of London, well, this seems to be the perfect place for a lovely day with friends, music and culture.
The other reason is that the organizers did not spare efforts or costs to get the best acts and DJs to this single event. The Line-Up is more than outstanding.

Animal Collective, Bat For Lashes, Amateur Best, Connan Mockasin, Django Django, How To Dress Well, Four Tet, Seth Troxler, Julio Bashmore, Vondelpark – oh dear, let’s stop name-dropping here. What else do we have to mention? Oh, Mount Kimbie will perform as part of their tour – they will release their long-expected album on Warp this year. Apart from the concerts there are – as usual – DJ-Sets that will take you from noon to the evening. An event that begs for a long weekend in London. So, check here for more information, get your tickets, catch a plane and enjoy the unique Field Day Festival.

Oh, by the way, the organizers of the Field Day collaborate in this year with the organizers from Hide Out and The Waterhouse Project and create an additional top-festival in Croatia. The Baby is called Unknown. It will be big! More information coming soon.
